Asian-style beef stir fry
No fresh veg? Make a speedy stir fry with canned veg instead

• 1 tbsp Co-op vegetable oil
• 500g Co-op 5% fat British beef mince
• 280g jar Co-op chargrilled peppers, drained and roughly chopped
• 290g can Co-op garden peas, drained
• 400g can Co-op green beans, drained
• ½ tsp chilli flakes
• 4 tbsp Co-op light soy sauce
• 1½ tbsp Co-op Fairtrade clear honey
• 1 tbsp Co-op lemon juice
• 2 tbsp Co-op toasted sesame oil
• 250g Co-op medium egg noodles


• Heat a large frying pan over a high heat
• Add the oil, then the mince
• Stir fry for 5-6 mins, until crisp and beginning to turn golden
• Add the peppers, peas, green beans and chilli flakes, then stir fry for 2 mins
• Pour in the soy, honey, lemon juice and sesame oil, and continue to cook for 3-4 mins
• Meanwhile, cook the noodles to the pack instructions
• Drain and serve with the stir fry beef and veg
