We are looking for Assistant Manager to join our team at our Grand Marché St Peters store with the Fresh team.
To maximise sales and profitability by providing excellent customer service through effective team leadership.
To lead, inspire and develop your team, spending time on the shop floor, making sure that each and every colleague and customer is valued. To maximise sales and profitability by providing excellent customer service through effective team leadership.
What will I do:
- Effectively lead, engage and develop a team
- Effectively develop and execute excellent customer service
- To oversee and assist in the control of all operating costs
- Working with the Deputy Manager to effectively grow profits
- Responsible for legal compliance and maintaining due diligence – Fuel Safety, Food Safety and Health & Safety
- Demonstrate The Society Aims, Values and the Management Charter
What do I need:
- 4 years+ Retail experience
- Minimum Level 3 CMI qualification
- Ability to lead, engage and develop a team
- Ability to help identify and maximise sales opportunities
- Develop and execute excellent customer service
- Ability to assist in profit growth
- Ability to communicate/ liaise effectively with Manager
- Knowledge of retail statutory legislation
- Ability to oversee costs, e.g. leakage, waste, people budget
