Job Role

We are looking for General Assistants to join our team at Various Co-op Locations in Jersey

We have several Zero hour positions available.

General assistants play a key role in attaining the highest possible standards of customer service, merchandising and all shop floor duties to maximise sales while working within the Society’s mission, vision and values. 

Duties include:

  1. Assisting customers with their enquiries
  2. Maintaining an uncluttered environment
  3. Replenishing stock
  4. Operating checkouts
  5. Supporting colleagues as part of a good team work ethic 

The role can be at times physically challenging and will involve reaching, bending and lifting of stock and standing for long periods of time.

No experience is necessary as full training will be provided, however, the ability to deliver great customer service is essential as well as have good written and verbal English. 

All contracts may include weekends.
