Job Role

We are looking for a PR & Communications Manager to be part of the Society's Marketing and Membership team.


The PR & Communications Manager will play an essential role in successfully delivering the Society’s PR and communications strategy (internal and external) in line with the vision, mission and values of the Society.

The role holder will be responsible for bringing the vision to life and creating a sense of belonging across all stakeholders which includes customers, members, and colleagues.


In line with delivering the Society’s strategic objectives, the role holder will be responsible for aligning key messages, devising and executing campaigns, measuring outcomes, producing key internal messages and ensuring effective media coverage.

The role requires working with the key Executive Management Team members, senior marketing team and key business partners with the goal of building and enhancing the Society’s image with colleagues (existing and potential). members, government, influencers and the general public.

 

The role holder will have a solid track record of developing and delivering communication strategies, have experience in working closely with journalists and proactively engaging the media. You should be a self-motivated and self-confident team player, and ideally have or be working towards CIM qualifications.
