Job Role

We're looking for a PR Officer to join our creative team at the Channel Islands Co-op.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Officer to join our team. As a PR Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our organisation's reputation by developing and implementing effective communication strategies.

Just like any job within the world of retail, this is a fast-paced, varied, challenging, but always rewarding role. You will be part of a team which will help implement marketing campaigns which will run across Jersey and Guernsey. You will be a key part of helping the Channel Islands Co-operative Society to deliver its objectives, but above all you will be helping to bring our vision to life and create a sense of belonging - from colleagues to members.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of public relations principles and techniques, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing media relations and crisis communications. In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including executives, employees, members, and media outlets, to ensure that our brand message is effectively communicated to the public.
