Job Role

We're looking for a Supervisor to be part of our team at Locale Charing Cross. 

Supervisors play a key role in attaining the highest possible standards of customer service, merchandising and all shop floor duties to maximise sales while working within the Society’s mission, vision and values. 

Duties include assisting customers with their enquiries, maintaining an uncluttered environment, replenishing stock, operating checkouts and supporting colleagues as part of a good team work ethic. 

• To contribute to the successful delivery of the Store business plan.
• To ensure that your store is safe, secure and legal and compliant with all legal requirements. Ensuring that society policies and procedures are fully adhered to.
• To lead, inspire and develop your team, making sure that each and every colleague feels valued.
• To maximise sales and profitability by providing excellent customer service through effective team leadership and that customers are at the heart of our decision making.
• The role can be at times physically challenging and will involve reaching, bending and lifting of stock and standing for long periods of time
• The successful candidate will have good written and verbal English. 

You should be flexible in order to meet the demands of our trading hours, which may include weekends.

Our ideal candidate will be have excellent communication and people skills with customers as much as colleagues. You will have good written and verbal English and be able to help lead and develop your team members.

Please note: A DBS Check is required as well as an EU Settled Status document from applicants holding an EU passport
