In February 2017 a team of nearly 30 volunteers made up from our members and colleagues came together to help Birds On The Edge plant over 500 saplings in a space of 250 metres - a quarter of the project's total target.

We were able to support this initiative with a £2,000 donation from our Eco fund, which went towards buying saplings to plant and restore the hedges. The hedgerows will in turn provide a home and food for endangered birds, insects and most of Jersey’s wild creatures.
