We've updated our Privacy Notice

We understand how important the privacy and security of our members' and customers personal information is. We also understand that it is important that we provide our members and customers with clear guidance as to what we do with their personal information, how we collect it, what their rights are in relation to it and how anyone can raise concerns to us in respect of personal information

Our Privacy Notice applies no matter how people interact with us, whether in our stores, pharmacies, over the phone, online and via email, or otherwise by using any of our websites or interacting with us on social media.

Updating privacy notices is not unusual and for your Coop ensuring our Privacy Notice remains up to date and reflects changes to our business and how we manage personal data is important.  

In updating our Privacy Notice, the changes we have made include:

  • Providing greater detail around The Channel Islands Co-operative Society Limited and its subsidiaries, together the CI Coop group.
  • Providing more clarification as to our services, roles and responsibilities including where we act on behalf of third parties
  • Updating the personal information we may hold about you to reflect all our services including the recent pilot launched together with BAT and Yoti in respect of age-estimation
  • Providing greater clarity around how we collect and use your personal information
