Pharmacy Dispenser| St Sampson Pharmacy

Job Role

We're looking for a Pharmacy Dispenser to join our Pharmacy team at St Sampson Pharmacy, to support Pharmacist Manager and Pharmacist to ensure that the pharmacy operates according to all appropriate standards and regulations.

No two days are ever entirely the same, but your daily duties include: 

• To assist in daily dispensary and pharmacy store operations
• Effectively execute excellent customer service
• Dispensing of medicines, appliances and other medical devices as per Code of Ethics.
• Ordering pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies and drugs, maintaining stock and storing in a correct an appropriate manner.
• Maintaining records such as pharmacy files, patient medication records and registries of controlled drugs.
• Meet all legal compliance and maintain due diligence – General Pharmaceutical Council standards and health & safety.
• Demonstrate to The Society Aims and Value and the Management Charter

1. Relevant pharmacy experience and knowledge of legislation
2. An appreciation of the importance of good customer service
3. Good written and verbal English
4. A can-do attitude and a great team player
5. If you have less than five years residency status, you may be considered for full time roles.
   If you've lived more than five years on the island, you may apply for part time roles
6. EU settled status document will be required from those holding an EU passport
7. Bonus: Ability to work flexible working patterns as the role may include weekends
8. DBS check is required.

You'll need to have strong personable skills with the ability to serve and maintain great customer relations and have a willingness to learn and develop.
