For the safety of our colleagues and customers during Storm Austen, all Coop food and pharmacy stores in Jersey and Guernsey will open at 1pm tomorrow (Friday 23 October).

Local authorities and The Met Office advise that the strongest winds are expected from this evening through the early hours of Friday, with guidance to avoid outdoor activity where possible and take extra care when travelling.

What this means for you

• Please shop today if you need essentials.
• Home deliveries and in‑store services may be affected; we’ll share updates on our website and social channels.
• Safety first: if you must travel, take care and follow official advice.

We’re grateful to our colleagues for their hard work preparing stores and to you, our members, for your understanding. We’ll post any changes to opening hours first on channelislands.coop and our social pages.

Warm regards,
Your Channel Islands Coop
