Christopher Peach

I am standing for the Board because I believe deeply in what the COOP represents: a community built on fairness, respect, and the simple promise that everyone deserves access to good quality products at honest, affordable prices. As a Hotel General Manager, I have spent my career creating welcoming places where people feel valued, listened to, and supported — and I want to bring that same spirit to our Society. I understand how to balance budgets without losing sight of what matters most: the wellbeing of the people we serve. I know how to negotiate hard on costs while protecting quality, and how to make decisions that benefit the whole community, not just a bottom line. If elected, I will work tirelessly to keep prices fair, quality high, and the COOP true to its mission as a member owned organisation rooted in integrity, transparency, and care for one another. Our Society is strongest when we look after each other — and that is exactly the kind of leadership I hope to bring.
