Jennifer Ekedahl

My career in the local finance industry includes just over 20 years of experience in board positions, focusing on corporate governance and compliance, financial control, strategy and business development.

I can bring my board experience to this role, albeit in a different industry.

I have been a member of the Jersey Co-operative society since 2003 and a regular consumer of Co-op goods and services since moving to the island in the 1980's.

As a wife and mother I value Channel Islands Co-operative for providing competitively-priced goods and services to islanders. My daughter loved the Tot Stop at the Grand Marche store and I am grateful those services were available when I needed them as a busy working mum.

I respect the aims of the organisation such as sustainability, equity and inclusion for staff, using local produce and community funding. Although I don't work in retail, I bring the perspective of the end user and feel I represent a typical co-op member with their best interests at heart.
