I am currently the General Manager of the Merton Hotel in Jersey, where I lead a large team and oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term performance of one of the island’s best-known hotels. My role involves managing people, finances, and operations while ensuring high standards of service for both visitors and locals who use the hotel’s facilities.
Alongside my professional role, I am committed to contributing to the island community. I serve on the Parish Rate Appeal Board, where we listen to residents who feel their parish rates may be unfair and carefully review each case before reaching a fair decision. I am also a Lay Panel Member for the Jersey Tribunal Service, where I help review evidence and contribute to balanced and impartial decisions.
Most importantly, I am a family man raising children in Jersey, and I understand the challenges many families face with the rising cost of living on our beautiful island. Like many islanders, I care deeply about ensuring Jersey remains a place where families and communities can thrive.
Through both my professional experience and community involvement, I hope to bring a practical, fair and community-focused perspective to the Co-operative Society.
