For the safety of our colleagues and customers during Storm Goretti, we’ll be closing all Coop food and pharmacy stores in Jersey and Guernsey today (Thursday) at 6pm and plan to reopen at 8am on Friday, once it’s safe to do so.

Local authorities and Jersey Met advise that the strongest winds are expected from this evening through the early hours of Friday, with guidance to stay at home from 8pm and avoid the coast, especially around high tide.

• Safety first: if you must travel, take care and follow official advice.
