Michelle Ryan

I am an experienced Director with a passion for sustainability, health and businesses that prioritise all stakeholders.  The co-op is a unique combination of an essential service provider and community focussed organisation and I am passionate about ensuring it retains its socially responsible ethos, financial viability and supporting good governance and decision-making.

But more than this, I am a mother of two little boys and, like you, I worry about the cost of living and how to make sure they have healthy and, where possible, locally grown food.  I want to help the co-op be as inclusive as possible, through its staff, but also is products and pricing.  I want to see sustainability remain a focus.  And to ensure the whole community continues to benefit from a local, community-owned retailer by bringing my experience to the board.
