Ready to make a real difference in our community? Let’s start now.
The Co-op Community Fund is here to give an extra bit of help to local projects and allow them to continue their life-changing and vital work in our community.
Now more than ever before, there are charities and causes in our islands – big or small – that need our support.
Over the years we've made a real difference to our community by donating thousands of pounds to local environmental and community projects through our Helping Hands and Eco funds.
Our new-look Community Fund is open all year round to local charities and community groups in the Channel Islands, with funding distributed to worthy causes twice a year.
We’ve travelled right back to our roots to get behind the projects and causes that resonate the most with our Society and its members.
We’ll support projects in any of the following categories:
- Preserving the local environment
- Social inclusion & accessibility
- Equality & diversity
- Supporting the aging population
- Inspiring the next generation & education
- Supporting local & Fairtrade
- Health & wellbeing
Projects must benefit our local community on-island, and applicants must be based in the Channel Islands.
You can apply all year round, and there will be two opportunities per year to receive a grant from our fund - these will usually be in April and October.
For 2021 only, our autumn round of funding will be released in October/November 2021. Apply by 30 September for your project to be considered in this pay-out.
Ready to apply? Let’s begin
Applications submitted by 30 September will be included in the next review for funding being released in autumn 2021. You can still apply after this date, but your application will then be reviewed in spring 2022.
Do you have everything you need for your application?
- Information about your project, and how it will support the local community or environment
- How much money you are applying for
- Your contact details
- Payee name
- Details of a referee (if payee is an individual rather than a registered local charity or group)
Together, we’ve helped make a real difference
Our community is at the heart of what we do. We are proud of our island communities and the real changes that can happen when we come together.
