Co-op Community Fund

Co-op Community Fund

Ready to make a real difference in our community? Let’s start now.

The Coop Community Fund is here to give an extra bit of help to local projects and allow them to continue their life-changing and vital work in our community.

Over the years we've made a real difference to our community by donating thousands of pounds to local environmental and community projects through our Helping Hands and Eco funds.

Our new-look Community Fund is open all year round to local charities and community groups in the Channel Islands, with funding distributed to worthy causes twice a year.

Applications for our spring round of funding closed on 30 April and are currently in review. You can now apply now until 30 September to be considered for the autumn 2023 round of funding.

What’s new?

We’ve travelled right back to our roots to get behind the projects and causes that resonate the most with our Society and its members.

We’ll support projects in any of the following categories:

  • Preserving the local environment
  • Social inclusion & accessibility
  • Equality & diversity
  • Supporting the aging population
  • Inspiring the next generation & education
  • Supporting local & Fairtrade
  • Health & wellbeing

Projects must benefit our local community on-island, and applicants must be based in the Channel Islands.

You can apply all year round, and there will be two opportunities per year to receive a grant from our fund - these will usually be in April and October.

Apply by 30 September for your project to be considered in our autumn 2023 pay-out.
