Cook 20 mins

100g Honest Value porridge oats
1 banana
1 egg
1 tbsp Honest Value honey
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
150ml local milk
6 squares fair-trade milk chocolate
2 chocolate chip cookies

Set your oven at 180 degrees (160 for fan). Add the oats, banana, egg, honey, cinnamon, baking powder and milk to a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour the mixture into two oven-safe ramekins. Push two squares of chocolate into each mixture so they are fully covered.

Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Whilst this is cooking, chop up the remaining chocolate squares and crush up the two cookies.

Take out of the oven and add the chopped chocolate and cookies over the top of the oats.

The addition of chocolate chips makes this dish oat-ally awesome.

In September 2022, we challenged local food blog Adventures of a Bean (Charlotte) to produce some recipes for under £5, using products from our Honest Value and Co-op own brand range. These Chocolate Chip Baked Oats are one of the recipes.
