We are looking for a Customer Team Member - Delivery Driver to join our Team on 39 hours a week based a our Millennium Park Food Store.

Our Delivery Drivers are responsible for the safe, accurate loading and delivery of all goods to our customers and  stores.

What will I do:

1. The safe and accurate loading of ambient, temperature-controlled products 
2. Transfer of stock between locations 
3.  Temperature Control checking as needed
4. Assisting in effectively planning deliveries using common sense and local Island knowledge, being prepared to adjust routes to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
5. Delivery of produce whilst observing all legal and safety regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring products arrive in time at the correct temperature. 
6. Maintaining a friendly and professional approach, always remaining courteous and respectful of customers and the Society’s privacy policy and procedures
7. Comfortable working independently using own initiative as well as being part of a larger team as a team player, and always with a customer centric focus 

What will I Need:

1.       Full, clean, driving licence to include at least category B standard car licence
2.       Excellent knowledge and understanding of the island and routes
3.      Familiarity with GPS devices would be an advantage
4.      A polite and professional disposition with excellent customer service and communication skills
5.      Flexible can-do attitude
6.       Ability to be able to carry large heavy items to properties, including the use of staircases. 
7.       Helpful and enthusiastic, you should really care about our customers and be a good team player who can              work on your own initiative
8.      Previous driving experience would be an advantage
9.      Experience of handling roll cages, crate and pallet movements would be an advantage

All applicants must be over the age of 21 years and a DBS will be required.

All applicants must hold a valid Right to Work permit.
